What an intra-state battle came to Wasmer Field as Coach Dan Arbeznik’s team showed down against Moeller. Coming off of a 3rd-place finish in the Jesuit Cup, the Wildcats were looking for a big night back at their home place. With just over a week to go before the huge meeting with St. Edward (April 27), the Wildcats were told to focus on one game at a time.
It’s a been a year in which Coach Arbeznik has been looking for his team to make statements. On Friday, the ‘Cats and Moeller fought to a 14-14 draw on Wasmer Field, as Saint Ignatius goes to a 5-1.
Next up? Next Saturday at 7:30pm on Wasmer Field is the contest between the Wildcats and Eagles.
